CONFERENCE REPORT FOR THE SEVENTH EDITION OF THE ANNUAL FORUM FOR IDEAS (AFI 2023).
We are pleased to share the conference report for the seventh edition of the Annual Forum for Ideas (AFI 2023). Initially scheduled to take place in Djibouti over three days, from December 19 to 21, 2023, the forum was suspended on Day 2 following the tragic passing of the late Minister of Women and Human Rights, Khadija Mohamed Diriye, who passed away while in Djibouti to attend the forum. To complete the forum, a second phase was organized in Mogadishu in March 2024. This report summarizes the keynote speeches, presentations, high-level plenary sessions, and academic panel discussions from both phases.
